Hilary has worked in the field of organizational and leadership development for more than 20 years as both an employee in corporations and as a consultant and coach external to organizations. She has a Master of Public Administration with a specialization in nonprofit management and international development management, as well as certifications in coaching and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
Hilary speaks Spanish and Italian in addition to her native English. After about 10 years consulting in the nonprofit sector, she spent four years as a special education teacher in public schools. In 1995, Hilary began an adventure of personal and professional exploration which took her into the field of coaching to assist others to develop themselves. After returning to the field of training, focused on leadership development, she combined her expertise in coaching with her desire to help leaders, particularly women, in corporations to expand their capabilities as leaders.
Hilary strongly believes that the more managers focus on the development of their employees and themselves, the better performance will be and the better the business results.
"Hilary has an uncanny ability to communicate effectively, motivate, and inspire and has truly had an impact on me over the past few years. She is willing to take time out of her day to listen to even the smallest concern or issue and help evaluate your solutions without solving the problem herself, which makes her an effective leadership coach.
Hilary's style and techniqes in the classroom environment are second to none as she takes the time to not only get to know the audience but she learns, hands on, about the environment in which the audience operates which builds credibility.
While we no longer work in the same environment Hilary and I remain close friends and I appreciate her support!"

"One of the many assets that I have noticed about Hilary is in her ability to listen to what is being spoken and clearly be able to reiterate or to translate back from a full grasp of the situation.
Hilary is a rare find in that she actually "thinks" from truly having used thought processes rather than "react" from just having to speak because there is a pause in the conversation.
In my interactions with Hilary, I have learned that when she shares something, it behooves me to stop and take notice of what she is saying because it is always worth hearing."
